Gregory Rae Noyes
1957 - 2014
Salina/West Jordan, Utah - Our hearts are broken at the passing of our wonderful son, husband, father, brother, uncle and best "papa" ever. Gregory Rae Noyes passed away on March 28, 2014 at home, surrounded by loved ones after an 11 year battle with cancer.
Greg filled our lives with love and kindness, and has left us with so many wonderful memories. He loved supporting his children in all of their interests. Whether it was 4H horse shows, BMX races, sporting events, or dance recitals he never missed an opportunity to be with his family. He loved weekend fishing trips with his friends but, most of all, loved being on the lake, in his boat, with family and friends.
Greg graduated from North Sevier High School in 1975. He married his high school sweetheart, Cindy Hardy, and they made their home in Logan, Utah where Greg went on to get a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and an MBA from Utah State University. He enjoyed being involved in the community. One of his favorite accomplishments was getting the Blackhawk arena built in Salina, Utah. He worked with the committee for two years raising funds and organizing efforts.
Greg is survived by his wife, Cindy Hardy Noyes of West Jordan, Utah; Daughter, Nicole (Rock) Ogden of St. George, Utah; Son, Chance Noyes of West Jordan, Utah; parents, Rae and Gwen Noyes of Salina, Utah; in-laws, Bob and Pauline Hardy; Brother and Sister, Daryl (Carolee) Noyes and Belinda (Donald) Ervine; 4 grandchildren: Sage (12), Adyson (6), Kayson (5) and Sadie Rae (1); and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family would like to thank everyone (family and friends) for all your love and support. Greg's second family at Rocky Mountain Power - He loved and missed you all - and Huntsman Cancer Institute for their valiant efforts in helping us fight this ugly disease.

Dear Gwen and Rae,
We were so saddened to read of the passing of your son. He is about the same age as our oldest son. There is so much resemblance to Rae in this picture. We can only try to imagine the sorrow and heartbreak you are going through at this time. We wanted so very much to attend the funeral, but prior commitments would not allow it. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with as you deal with this sad event in your lives.

Cindy, Chance, Nicole, Rocky, and all the Kiddos,
I am having such a hard time without writing a book about Greg. He is one of the best friends I will ever have. I can't stop thinking of all of the fun times we have all shared.
Greg loves you all more than anyone, I have seen love and be there for his family. You were all number one. I haven't ever met a man who cares so much and who would do whatever it took so everyone was taken care of. He did the very best he could to ensure you all have perfect life's. He genuinely cared about his friends. I haven't ever been as happy to see his face bounce in my office just to say hi. I was also fortunate to work with him regularly, I am so thankful our jobs were aligned and I saw him as much as I possibly could.
His family, wow he is the best husband, father, and "papa". There isn't anyone I know who would be there as fast and as thought out in circumstances where some of us would come unglued. He is a mentor, he is a kind and loving man, he will be missed more than words can say. God Speed Greg... Love & Light to you all. If you feel him there, he is talk to him. He will be there with you forever. I love you all dearly. I am always here for you.

To Aunt Gwen, Uncle Rae, and Cousins Cindy, Nicole, and Chance, and the rest of the Noyes/Sorensen family,
I am so sorry to hear about Gregory's passing. He was such a fun cousin (although more like uncle) to have when I was a kid. I remember how he would patiently watch Nicole and I dance and lip sync in the basement when we were kids and tell us how great we were. It was fun to go to rodeos and parades with him and the whole family during the Summers when I would visit with my dad. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. May you find comfort in this time of temporary loss... I believe you will be reunited again with him someday. Xoxo
Love,
