I enjoyed meeting and working with Art in Congressman Cook's Office. We had great times going to Ute football and basketball games. But I will treasure our golf games, especially the hole-in-one Art hit at the Homestead. Till we meet again amigo.
Art was a great friend for many years - since my days working at Safeway in Price, Utah. As a matter of fact, Art hired me when I was 17 - he was a man of vision, compassion and great humor.
My sincerest condolences to Joyce and all of the family - may he rest in peace!
Art was a person I admired and respected. My deepest condolences. The last time I saw Art we were having coffee downtown, discussing ways to solve issues in our communities. This was when the tornado hit. We joked about it for a long time, "the winds of change was here, and he was a big part of it!!!
Arthur was the "best" shooting guard I ever played with at Notre Dame. 40 points would be easy for him, just a great shooter. He was my friend, a co-worker at Safeway, we had many memories of working late on Saturday night getting the store clean for the next week. I loved him as a brother. May the Lord bless him and keep him in his care until we meet again.
"Tines" Your the best!
We could always solve the problems of the world, over that cup of coffee. Keep the pot on, and we will share again.
I always liked Art when I lived in Price, He sponsored me into the Elks lodge when I believe he was the current ER of the lodge. A nicer man was not to be found. God bless him and the entire family at this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
I knew Art for many years and worked with him at Beaver Creek Coal. I am ver sorry for your loss and our family prayers are with you.
