To the family and friends of Sharon, I knew Sharon when she was a child. My children grew up with her. She was such a beautiful child and young woman. I can still hear her singing in the Calvary Baptist Church children's choir, she had such a beautiful voice. We were blessed that she touched our lives on her journey here on earth. God bless always family for taking such good care of God's Angel while she road her "Train" of life.

I am so sorry Geoff that I was not in attendance to honor Sharon in her passing. I was not made aware of it until this weekend. I would have loved to have been there to show respect, love & honor her journey through life & through the veil of passing. She was a dynamic gal! When I would have the privilege of seeing you kids Sharon was always so gracious & pleasant to be around. She was for sure a people person & a magnet for all things fun & crazy. Geoff the obituary is beautiful & so in character of Sharon, you honored her with class & honesty. We will all hold our memories dear to our heart & I am grateful I had the privilege of sharing a family with such a beautiful person, inside & out. God bless you Geoff, time will soften the hurt, love you, Cousin Leslie

Thank you for your recent attendance at Sharon's memorial service on July 17, 2013 at the Calvary Baptist Church. Your attendance was integral in honoring Sharon's memory the way she deserved and would like to have been remembered.

Please be aware that, to coincide with Memorial Day 2014 (next year), Sharon's name will be included among others on the Wall of Honor, a monument dedicated to those who donated their bodies to medical research in the state of Utah. On the last Saturday of August, and continuing on in perpetuity, usually on that same Saturday every year thereafter, there will be a memorial service and ceremony to honor Sharon and the countless others on this wall who have made this generous and altruistic gift to science, the medical community and the future well-being of those struggling with cancer and other maladies, as well as that of humanity in general. You are welcome and invited to attend these future ceremonies, or you may visit the monument privately at a time of your choosing. The Wall of Honor Monument is located on the southeast corner of Library Square at 500 South and 500 East, on the southeast corner of Salt Lake City Library Square, directly adjacent to the Leonardo Museum in downtown Salt Lake City.

Further information regarding the monument is available at:

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not're coming here to me.

I love you baby girl. You are like the sister I lost in 1986. You know that. You are with the hummingbirds ( you know what I mean). I am being selfish with how much I miss you on earth, but I know I will see you in heaven. (Personal joke between us: I will not kill a fly on the wall). I thank you, Our Lord, for ending our Sharon's pain and suffering. She is a beautiful soul and will be missed, is an understatement. Thank you for the knowledge you have given me-it will never be forgotten. I still, and always will, talk with you through my daily life. You're beside me! I love you! Sing some songs with Jimmy, Little Wing!!

Oh Sharon - I'm so sad you're gone but so relieved you are not in pain anymore. We had so many good times over the years -- from LA to Salt Lake to Park City to New York -- you always led the charge toward fun, even if you had to drag us kicking and screaming sometimes. You were so much fun to ski with and the best companion at Jazz games; such a loyal fan, so positive and energetic. (And you always made us get cockles after the game.) Your smile, your laugh, your wit and charm and empathy will be sorely missed. You were truly one-of-a-kind, a unique soul in search of answers that were sometimes not attainable. I will always love and respect you for that. Thank you for all the love and generosity you showed this 3rd wheel over the years -- some may not have not have been so kind. I'm glad I got to see you a few times the past year, and happy that you and Hugo were able to hang out. Anna was crushed when I told her -- she always loved you and took your side if I was holding a grudge about something petty. We are all incredibly sad right now. I hope that grand, shining soul of yours is out there somewhere. I'd do anything to hear you shout “Matty!” again. Peace.

Sharon will always be remembered for her wit, charm and elegance! I am so sorry to read of your passing!

You will always be the queen of "ladies day", the "party girl" in every room, the dancer on the bar during Kid Rock, the brainiac of Thursday crosswords/best handwriting, and you are in every orange flower I see.
Not a day will go buy that we won't think of you.
We all miss our sister!!
Love Cole
