I, too have great memories of Larry when we were growing up at the Zenith Ave./Imperial St. area of SLC and we were going to a new school, Highland High. Larry was fun loving and carefree... Thanks, Larry!

My deepest condolences.

Larry and I met in May 1967 working for the "Wild Peas" gardening group at Salt Lake School District. We clipped school lawns with hand clippers to burn excess money from the school district budget. Larry was funny, liked to have fun, and became part of a large group of friends that did everything together from dragging state (at a time when that was a safe Friday, and Saturday night activity) to sock hops at the U of U union building.

As we got older we frequented many of the great beer bars (Top Hat) and private clubs (Iron Horse/Black Bull) and many others that had exceptionally good bands, and places to dance and have fun. Those days were safe and fun.

Larry and I rebuilt the break calipers on his '67 blue Cougar with the 390 cid engine, 3 speed on the floor; the car was very fast.

I spend many years with Larry as a close friend. He worked at Hill Air Force Base as a manpower specialist and arranged to get transferred to postings over seas. After that I would see him from time to time when he visited to Salt Lake. My visit was in 1989. I haven't seen him since and have attempted to locate him on the Internet many times.

I was deeply saddened when I was his Obituary a few minutes ago. He was a good friend, and I have missed him for many years. I have many fond memories of the activities and adventures that we shared. Many of our friends from those days have passed, I hope to seen them all on the other side.

I wish you God's speed, eternal peace, and blue skies always my friend.

My condolences to Larry's family. I worked closely with Larry during the 1980s at Dugway Proving Ground. He was so happy when he was able to get a job and move to Panama. I hope memories of him comfort all of you during this time of grief.
