I first met Bob when he started teaching at UU. We all were new to the program and most of us new to UT too. He and Eleanor were wonderful hosts, guides, references and more. He was a tremendous mentor. I have many great memories of him, but one that stands out is Bob, Peter (another grad. student at the time), and I had a standing wine tasting after safety classes. We learned a tremendous amount about wine, humor, and life from him in addition to safety engineering those evenings. He and Eleanor continued as friends and welcomed our family to UT for skiing on several occasions. He is missed. Our heart-felt condolences to the whole family.

Mrs. Anderson
My name is John Dignan Mr. Anderson hired me in 1987 at MSA and I have worked in the safety industry ever since. The knowledge and advise he gave me has followed me through my life and has made me a better person he was my mentor. I never called him Bob he was and still is Mr. Anderson to me and I am a very lucky person to have crossed paths with him in this life. God bless you and your family at this time "what a man"

Dear Anderson family,

I am sorry to hear of Bob's passing. Memories of Bob's leadership contributions to Troop 410 came flooding back to me when I heard. He was a good man and will be missed. My condolences. Jeff Herman in Cincinnati
