Please accept my condolences at your immeasurable loss. Yolanda and I went to Sacred Heart school together from the 1 through 4th grades. She was a gentle and loving child, someone I fondly remember as a friend. While we lost touch after I moved, I have never forgotten her - she lives on in many beautiful memories.

To Yolanda's family:

I'm Greg Davis, a friend of Yolanda's from high school. I'm so saddened to learn of her passing. My father pastored a church in Chattaroy, WV for many years. Our family sent up many prayers prior to the deaths of Yolanda's mother, father, and brother. When we learned of Yolanda's illness, we prayed for her as well. She rode in my car, from the church to the cemetery and back, at the funeral of a mutual friend's parent several years ago in Williamson, WV. It was so great to see her after so many years. She was still as friendly and vibrant as when we were in high school. I was always taught that God has a plan when he takes someone from us. This is a deeply hurtful loss that I pray all of you, and her many friends, can bear over the coming years. I love all of Yolanda's family. I will miss her.

Yolanda Spano one of the nicest, kindest, caring persons I have had the privilege to call my friend. I will miss her dearly, as she was more like a sister, than just a friend. I remember her always offering a place to stay when I visited SLC...she willing to serve in any way...comfy bed, food to eat...always truly concerned that guest felt welcomed. If she wasn't well you could never tell. She had a way of making you the center of attention. The perfect host and a true friend.
I will miss you Yolanda. And I know Our Father in heaven has one great Lady in his company.
