Dear Mrs. Carolyn Madrid, Mrs. Beatriz Portillo-Madrid, Carlos, Diana, children and grandchildren; I'm so saddened that Chris Madrid's gracious smile, his sincere raspy hello's and "how are you," has left our beautiful, physical world. So many memories we are left with and he will not be forgotten. Chris and his steadfast and loyal siblings had the strongest support system-their parents. I'm able to assure his parents that their children were always respectful, kind, sincere and welcomed everyone to their dinner table. It was this that brought them continued success and the communities willingness to break bread on many intimate occasions in their establishment. Chris's presence will be expected at any given time or moment because it was in his nature to "SURPRISE" his lunch or dinner guests gleefully and cleaning tables as he walked by! Go in peace and rest in peace our friend and neighbor....A loyal 1970's customer.
