SCHILLING
Ernest Schilling passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at the age of 91. Ernest committed his life serving his country first by serving in the U.S. Army during World War II, and later working in civil service combined his service was more than 38 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie; and daughter, Patricia. He is survived by his daughters, Virginia Rios, and Gloria Schilling; grandchildren, Marissa Silverstein, Michael Campa, Lea Strange, Christopher Dodson, and Ronnie Schilling; 12 great grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Patriot Heights staff for their compassionate care for over 4 1/2 years. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Matthew Catholic Church.
