She is a great loss to all of us "oldtimers" at Women in Communications: she was inspiring, kind, engaged, amazingly capable, and always upbeat. Deeply missed; a great loss. Barbara Dean Hendricks

Esther, I am sure that you were met in heaven by Lucky, I loved that he enjoyed "rides" with you and you certainly took him everywhere. I guess it could not be helped, you were always my favorite "yellow dog democrat". I learned so much from you regarding "platforms" and how we lamented that there were never enough female candidates running for office. You were a funny, kind, caring , charming woman. You will be missed!

I am sorry to have missed the memorial service. I worked with Evelyn on the League for several years. She was a real trooper. I will miss her.

I just heard of Esther's passing -- what a wonderful person and amazing business professional! She made a difference, for her clients and her community! Until recently, we served on the SER Board together, and she was just as passionate and spirited as she had always been. Rest in peace, Esther -- you will be missed but never forgotten.

Dear Clark, You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Esther was a smart, thoughtful person. She made a big difference advocating for causes dear to her heart. Best regards, Allan Smith
