RUSSELL
Fred Shelton Russell, beloved husband and father, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at the age of 88. He was born in San Antonio, Texas. He was a Purple Heart recipient from WWII, 10th Mountain Division. Fred is survived by his wife, Juliet; his daughter, Cheryl Russell Mijangos, and husband, Albert; son, Richard Russell; granddaughters, Eliana and Shelton Mijangos as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Porter Loring Mortuary North.

2:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105, www.stjude.org. A private inurnment will take place at a later date in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
