I recall my friend Roland as being one of the nicest guys at Burbank High back in the mid-1950's. Before we retired, he would occasionally drop by my SAWS office to visit briefly and stay in touch. RIP my friend.

Vicki it is with great sorrow that we learned of Roland's passing. We had just begun to enjoy your and Roland's company. Always looking forward to the next gambling trip. Having a great time making memories. These memories are what we hold close to our hearts as our loved ones leave us to go home to the house of the Lord. Our sincere condolences to you and family. To the Arangua family, my name is Vince Martinez, I served in the Army with Roland during Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Roland was a good friend of mine; he would do anything to help you, even give you the shirt on his back if he had to. Although we grieve for him today rest assure that he is in a better place. May God give u the strength in your time of need. Please accept my deepest sympathy in your time of loss. Monica,
We have lost another great one from the Greatest Generation. Hold on to the words of our Lord Jesus Christ as written in Holy Scripture to help you and your family in this time of grief. May you receive consolation knowing your dad now lives in eternal life in paradise, where there is no more sickness, pain or sorrow; just divine happiness and joy. Proverbs 3-5: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding" which we will have to do now.

May the graces of our Lord be with you and may the perpetual light shine upon your dad.

My deepest condolences Monica to you and your family. Your dad is now resting in peace and smiling down upon you and your mom. His memory will live on through you and all those people he touched during his life as it was so clearly defined in his Obituary. God bless you and your family during this difficult time.

I'm so sorry for your loss. May the love of family and friends help you through this very difficult time. I know it's hard, but laugh about things that your father did and try to think of all the good memories of your Dad. Celebrate his life and keep his memory alive

Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow,
May looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow.

Vicki, my brother left this world knowing that he had a most loving wife who never for one minute left his side and cared for his every need during his bout with cancer. Monica, you are truly such a wonderful daughter. The compassion and love you had for your dad was evident with every tender touch and look. Both of you never left his side and complied with all his wishes. He died with dignity just as he wanted. I will miss the daily calls from my brother, his big laughter, his great sense of humor. Until we meet again in heaven - rest in peace. You'll live in my heart forever. Gus
