Arthur was truly a gift to us all. I was fortunate to have known him and recall the twinkle in his eye, warm sense of humor and dedication to his students. My daughter (Jacquelyn) was one of his fortunate students. We did plead with him not to retire until after she graduated (with honors) from Patrick Henry. Jacquie chose to teach high school and adult ed English and Spanish. What a wonderful role model he was. Hugs to Hilary, Barbara, Renee and their families.Shalom, Arthur...

I was lucky enough to be in his AP English class in 75-76. He was demanding and supportive in equal measures. A man who truly changed me. I'll never forget him.

My husband and I still talk of Mr. Schor and our memories of him as our 10th grade English teacher. Remember the most outrageous thing we did at graduation was to "Red Card" him as he started to speak. Hilary, our prayers are with you and your family.
