I too served with Gary. In fact we car pooled from Santee, CA to MCRD. We became friend for life. I have always respected and admire him. He was a very up front/honest man! Condolences to his family.

I served with Gary at Recruiters' School. He was an inspiring person who brought out the best in those who knew him. He had a spirit that would never give up, no matter the circumstances; Gary was a true leader who always kept the best interests of his Marines and mission as his top priorities. My sincere condolences go out to his family. He will be missed and remembered.
