Still sad when I think of Carol and the family without Chuck not there with them, but he is in spirit and memories that will live on. Sharon
God Bless you Chuck. Thank you for your time and help.
We were shocked by the news of Chucks passing. He was a business client, friend, and my buddy. I always tried to put a smile on his face. Here is the Auction "rat pack", Chuck, Dean Kruse, Mickey Weise, and Dave Smith. I will always respect him and remember him. Mickey Weise
I have work with Chuck for many years and very sad to hear of his passing. Chuck you will be missed. Ron Walter
Saddened to hear of Chucks passing. I am a retired CHP Sergeant and car buff. Chuck and David helped sell of 55 RR. It was Chuck that first peaked my interest in buying a motor home. He will be missed. blessings to all of his family!
I was so shocked when I heard of Chuck's passing last week, that it has taken me till now to go to the Guest Book. I sent a card to you last week as soon as I heard, but haven't wanted to call and disturb you and the family. Even though we haven't seen you that often over the years, it was always so great when we did get together with you and Chuck. Chuck was always so nice and fun to be around. You and your family our in our thoughts, and I hope to be able to speak to you personally very soon.
Always, Sharon & Rick Leibl
Chuck was truly one of the good guys. May his memory be eternal.
A life long friend and neighbor from Belle Stone grade school, McKinley high school and beyond. A genuine good guy.
I will miss him
To Carol and all the family, I send my condolences to you on the loss of your husband/father/grandfather. I was saddened to hear of his passing. Your family has suffered just so much loss these past few years. Feel comfort in those around you and in knowing you've got some terrific guardian angels watching over and protecting you from above.
I originally met Chuck over 50 years ago when he rode into town and got his first job working for my Dad, Derek Morris selling room additions. I was in High School running permits in the old days but Chuck was always very friendly to me. As the years went on and Chuck started Charco, he and Carol remained great friends to my parents inviting them in many events. Chuck and I stayed connected over the years and when my wife and I needed a major room addition, the only person we called was Chuck. With Armando's amazing guidance, our beach home was transformed into a showcase home.
As I experienced success in business, I always admired all that Chuck accomplished over the years. He took me through his car museum a few times and it was obvious those cars were a great source of enjoyment and pride to him.
His family however, was always his number one priority.
I regret not spending more time with Chuck but I am a much better man for knowing him. I'm hoping he's sitting up in heaven having a cocktail with my Mom and Dad...
My thoughts and prayers are with Carol and the family.
Chuck will be greatly missed in the collector car world.!
Carol, So sorry to hear of your loss. Our thoughts are with you and your family. Sarah Eber Moreno & Dora Eber Tuchin
WITHOUT CHUCK I DONT THINK MY BUSSINESS WOULD HAVE MADE IT FOR 23 YEARS HE HAD CONFIDENCE IN US AND SHOWED US THE WAY.THANK YOU CHUCK YOU ARE THE MAN.
I am so sad to hear of his passing. I worked for him at Charco in the early 80's. He was a kind employer and good man. RIP, Chuck Swimmer...
We only knew Chuck from the addition he put on our house a few years ago,but I rarely go into that room without thinking of him. I thought I wouldn't find anyone who would take on the project as I envisioned it, yet he did it beautifully and even better than I'd hoped thanks to his vision. What a kind, generous soul he was, with a wonderful personal touch. His confidence and expertise and desire to give us an excellent result were a great encouragement to us thruout our relationship with his company, and the people who worked for him were all outstanding and had great respect for him. My wife was greatly saddened when she heard of his passing. I am sorry I never got to thank him when the job was finished, or to ask him if he knew Jeshua Meshiach.
What a shock. We all had such respect for him in the building industry. Our heart goes out to his wife and family.
