Mary was such a special person and friend to me, while I was at MidCity. I miss her smiling face and wonderful laugh. Always happy and ready to laugh. We shared stories and finally got her to work that digital camera!

These words seem so small for a woman so wonderful... Mary has shown such warmth and love to so many. I can remember going into her office for something work related and after a few seconds we were exchanging stories about our children and ultimately our grandchildren. She loved being Irish. She loved her family and I am so sadden by her passing. What a fine woman!

Dear Joe and Family: Thank you for sharing Mary with all of us at work. I knew her when we were at the 1st CE center known as "East San Diego." When I arrived, I knew she was an angel on earth. She always had only positive things to say about people and found the silver lining in every cloud. She will be sorely missed. May you find comfort in memories of Mary the ones that make you laugh. May the Lord bless you and your family with His Comfort and Peace. Kathy

Dear Mary,
If I have ever known a saint on Earth, it was you! Through the past forty-three years we shared so many precious times, especially within the past five years when we spent hours together with our "group". I cherished our relationship as family members, but more than that, our friendship. You were so special...a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, cousin and friend. I know that heaven sparkled ever so bright when you arrived there on Sunday. I thank you for being my confidant during the first years of our marriages...and being such a dynamic friend as the years went by. Until we see each other again, rest in peace. I love you friend...cousin!

For many years, Mary's smiling face was the first I greeted upon arriving at the Mid City Continuing Education Center where we both worked. She always had time for a little chat, and we shared many a laugh. Everyone appreciated Mary and the excellent way she did her job. Retirement sent us in different directions, but I have always remembered her fondly as a really "classy" lady. My sincere condolences to her family.
