I talked to Neal on the phone, I was interested in buying his plans for the Cadet STF. He was very helpful & honest about the plane, the plans & the work involved. He sent me a flier too.
I went with a different plane, but now I have the skills and resources to build to his plans, I've missed the chance to work with him. I'm sad he has passed.

Neal LaFrance - Long time friend dating back to days in Milwaukee at Milwaukee School of Engineering and Columbia Hospital (Wanda) - sharing dates together - now they are together in Heaven. Visits with them in Reseda where Neal built his first experimental flying machines - helping Neal put a fabric cover on a wing in his garage - visiting them in Wichita - Neal flying Wanda from Wichita to Denver to visit us there with Wanda holding a lemon meringue pie in her lap all the way - and finally their return to California and get-togethers with the Floyd Jacks to celebrate one thing or another - great memories of a great gentleman and his lady. We were truly blessed to share them - and we miss them.

"Miss me a little - but not too long
And not with your head bowed low -
Remember the love that we once shared
And - Miss me - But Let Me Go!! "

I will never forget the great flight Uncle Neal let me experience in his small two seat biplane when he visited Milwaukee along with Micheal. It happened many years ago but it was a real thrill and such a kind gift. I'm sure the heavenly flight you and your nephew, TJ, are having is truly rockin' the skies. Jodie Makowski

I've only known Neal for a few years, having met him through my son Clint. However Neal had a way of making you feel like an old friend. For the last few years I've had the privilege of attending the GOL in Columbia Ca. We (Clint and I) first arrive in San Diego a few days early to help prepare the planes for the fly in. Where Neal and I had some great conversations about how and why planes fly. You taught me so much Neal, I will miss those times and will never forget you. Keep flying my friend. Greg
