He was such a remarkable person. My family was friends with his and it always made me feel great when he greeted me with his sparkling eyes, broad smile, and gentle nature. The fine craftsmanship of his home, including the whimsical ramp built for the kids to ride their tricycles, and of course the amazing motorhome were impressive. I'm not surprised to learn he also built a removable boat dock. His lifelong accomplishments were a testament to his creativity and love for his family.

Oakley was an inspiration to me many times in the property ownership business. We had coffee together in Carlsbad and discussed many things. My condolences to all of the Parker family

My late husband, Dennis Lacey, worked for Oakley and always had such wonderful things to say about him! And loved telling me about his motorhome! Good memories. My condolences to the Parker family.

In the late 1970's I was an employee in his construction company. I became friends with his mother Nell. We traveled to Montana and she even took me to his birthplace, Fishtail, Mont. I have many pleasant memories and I extend my condolences to Johnelle and his family.
