45 years I have known him and in those years one thing always remainded the same, his smile-his gentleness, his devotation to his family and his loved ones. He was always there to "BEAR HUG" me hello and good bye. His Daughter Patty & I met in Jr High and have remained friends for 45 years. His kindness, and in my younger years my aweness of what a great Dad he was is still etched in my memories. I was so blessed to have known this truly remarkable man and to have him in my life. I am so grateful to have called him Papa and will continue to do so. His entire family are so wonderful each and everyone. I am so lucky to continue to have Patty and her family in my life. I am also so blessed to have had the chance to know and cared for this most kind, gentle, loving, giving, compassionate & honorable man I came to call Papa. I will miss you but will always have you in my heart.

Colonel Robert Dodge was an officer, a gentleman and much more. He was devoted to the U. S. Air Force and the admissions program to the Air Force Academy. He served in many capacities and remained a role model to those who entered the service. He will be sorely missed.

Uncle Bob was such a patriarch in the Dodge family. We were so sad to hear of his passing. He was a patriotic, caring man, truly one of a kind. His service to our country in various forms made him a real hero. We celebrate a live that was well lived. Our condolences to all of you.
