Therese,

Dona and I are deeply saddened by Scot's passing.
It had been a while since we last saw him, but whenever we got together, it was just like I had seen him yesterday.
We are both left with fond memories of the times we shared. I enjoyed kidding him about restoring his El Camino, New Years at Pattys, wandering around Cal Tech and playing pool, having a few beers...
He was a great guy and we will miss him.
Take confort that he is looking down on us at this very moment and keeping a spot open for us.
We will all join with him eventually.
You have our love and support.
"Death leaves a heartache
no one can heal...
Love leaves a memory
no one can steal"

Scot, I am saddened by our loss. My heart goes out to Therese, and your family and friends, who must now carry on without your physical presence...but you will be with us always, as we hold you dear to our hearts with wonderful memories. Give Therese your strength now, as you gave her your love in life.

My Beloved Big Brother,
I am heartbroken beyond description that you have left us so soon. I grieve all of the things I should have told you, how much I love you, that you were always my rock and my anchor in this world and that you always provided a safe place for me to just be me. I will miss your charming smile, your great big bear hugs, your wonderful sense of humor but mostly your kindness and tender heart. I desperately hope you can see how much you are loved and by so many.
I recently looked over my goals and resolutions for 2013 and added one more to the list – the most important one “To be more like my brother”. It's been an honor being your sister, certainly in life but perhaps even more so in death. Rest in peace Brother, I Love you.

It was always an enjoyable trip when my sisters and I would make the trip to visit my aunt Tessie and Uncle Scot for the weekend. We would go nuts over the cute “skater boys” and loved spending summer days at the beach. I remember one trip where we wanted to do some exploring of our own, so we decided to walk to the local donut shop to see if there were any cute boys. It was late at night and Tessie and Scot were already asleep and we knew that we had to “sneak” out. So we went through the garage and into the backyard, there was a fence door right by their bedroom window. We tried opening the door and must have made too much noise and startled Tessie, suddenly the backyard light flipped on and Uncle Scot was standing outside. He asked what we were doing and unable to come up with a logical excuse we knew we were caught. Instead of scolding us he made light of the situation and reminded us that we couldn't pull a “fast one” on him and that he knew all the tricks in the book. We never attempted that stunt again, but would joke about it from time to time. Uncle Scot would always tease us about it and would be like “Remember the time when……,” and we would all be laughing. He always had a way with humor and I treasure the memories of him bringing a smile to my face. You will be missed immensely Uncle Scot, I love you!
