Ed, I hope where you're fishing now that you get a bite on every cast. Mike
Hi Jane, our thoughts and prayers go out to you at this time. I was sorry to hear of Ed's passing when we got home.
He was very lucky to have you in his life. I will always remember the time Ed and I spent working together at Cal Poly and his calm peaceful approach to life. He will always be remembered as an outstanding professor and of course a world class fisherman.
God speed, dear Ed!
Linda and Brent
Hi Jane, I wish i could have met you and ed earlier in life and maybe picked up a few of ed's fishing techniques.
thinking of you,love rodger m
Dear Jane: What a loss! Ed was a mentor to me when I came to the M.E. department in 1987. He was so generous (and I took up a lot of his time). He always had something funny to say. Told me he'd bet a student he could beat him in a bike race to Morro Bay. Then he borrowed the HPV so he'd be assured of trouncing the student. My sympathy to you and his family.
I knew Ed through the San Luis Duplicate Bridge Club. He was a great competitor, always friendly, never cross with anyone. We all knew of his love of fishing. His many local bridge friends will hold him in our thoughts.
What a shock to hear of Ed's death. For me he had a larger than life presence in the Cal Poly ME Dept., and was my valued colleague and friend for some 30-plus years. He was a tough, but top-notch teacher, sometimes feared perhaps, but always respected. His imprint on those flagship Vibs and Controls labs of the ME Dept. is a kind of legacy that I hope Ed was aware of and proud of. Sincerely, Larry Nelson
Hi Jane....a blast from your past. Just wanted to let you know I'm holding you in my prayers as we lost Mike just over 2 yrs. ago. Our boys are 22 and 15 now-David and Aaron. I remember Aaron and Ben so fondly...when things settle down and if you want to try to connect give me a call......much love to all. Kim
He had the sharpest wit.
My best to Jane and family.
There will never be another Ed. Rest in peace, my friend. You will be missed and never forgotten.
Jane, our thought's and prayer's are with you! Our lives are truly better, because of Ed's friendship, he will always be loved and remembered! May he finally be free, to do all the things he once enjoyed<3
Jane and family..you were so blessed to have "Baker" in your life. "Eduardo" will be missed tremendously and your memories of him will live on. Love you Jane and Ed.
