I'll Always remember Ellen's sweet smile and the three years we traveled together to Monterey each month, as members of the Diocesan Educational Committee representing St. William's
Catholic Church. I became familiar with her kind heart and spirit. What a gift I have been given!

We delivered meals to Mrs. Baer. She was always so appreciative of us volunteers. We shall miss her bright smile, her friendliness, and most of all, her upbeat attitude. Blessings to the family.

Our dear, Aunt Ellen . . . so sweet that she, like always, was grateful with what was right there in front of her, and continues to remind us all to do the same!
With love and many wonderful memories of a great lady,

Mrs. Baer, as I knew her, was such a gracious lady. Back in the 60's and 70's kids still called their friend's parents as Mr. or Mrs. And I would not be able to change that now. Her daughter, Celia and I spent so much time together, and I always got to see Mrs. Baer doing the many many things she did; taking care of her household, baking bread every Saturday, such a cool thing I thought, tending the garden, cooking, reading, going to work as the school librarian, and of course walking! She and Mr. Baer have been an inspiration. Mrs. Baer always had nice things to say to me. She was someone that would make you want to do your best. It is hard to believe that both Mr. and Mrs. Baer are gone. They will always be remembered with great appreciation and will continue to inspire me. I have added a beautiful picture of poppies, becauae I know Mrs. Baer so appreciated things of beauty and the outdoors.
Love to all of the Baer family.

Mrs. Baer gave me the lifelong love of reading. As a child, I loved it when she read stories to us. Such a sweet lady.
