My sincerest condolences to the Woolpert family. I only jut heard the tragic news today. As a member of the GSB Class of 77 (the year following Bruce's), I knew him and his boyhood friend Wes Clark (who was in my class). Many an afternoon while cheers rallied over us from the Stanford football games, we three were studying in the GSB library. What a sad loss.

Bruce and I grew up in Watsonville and attended both E.A. Hall and Watsonville High, graduating in 1970. Bruce was a true gentleman and his passing is a great loss for all that knew him. We missed him at the WHS 40th Year Class Reunion, but his generosity was greatly appreciated. God bless you Bruce and I'll see you when I see you.

I was was sad to hear about this. Bruce was a good man, employer. My experiences with him in the office, the field, the quarry, meetings, or bbq's etc. Bruce always greeted everyone with bright eyes & infectious smile. And he knew everyone who worked for him by name. He had an impact on my life the last 8 yrs I was with Pavex & the Quarry.
Bruce in gone in flesh, but not in Spirit & certainly not forgotten!
