Sorry to hear about your loss. I liked Mrs Dyer she was a very nice and sweet school teacher. I was in her class terrace School back in 1982 second grade. Was thinking about her couple weeks ago. Looked her up on Google said her name and that's how I found out about her obituary and passing. Still have family in Delano but live in Bakersfield Now. My condolences. Steven E Pace

My deepest condolences to you Christine and Frank. Your mother was an amazing women. I had the honor of being one of her students in the 2nd grade at Terrace in Delano and being a longtime friend. We attend Delano UMC together. Mrs. Dyer was truly one of the best and if you were lucky enough to have her as a part of your life you were truly blessed. Her caring and inspiring me long after the 2nd grade has greatly contributed to who I am today. I always bragged about my 2nd grade teacher still being in touch with me by sending birthday cards. All the lives she touched at Terrace Elementary have been truly blessed by her dedication to each and everyone of us to succeed. I have missed her over the last few years as we lost touch, but I still have her last note to me in which she explained writing was getting difficult but still cared about what I was doing. Your Mom and my teacher will truly be missed by many. May our Lord bless her and all of you with peace and comfort.

I am saddened to hear of her passing. Mrs. Dyer was my 2nd grade teacher and my favorite teacher. I was just bragging about her to my son. For many years, well into my thirties Mrs. Dyer sent my brother and I birthday cards. I have such fond memories of her from school and FUMC in Delano. My condolences to the family. She was a special lady and amazing teacher.

Dear Family of June Dyer,

My Mother, Jean Salsa, was a close friend of Junes and our families both attended the Methodist Church in Delano. Dr. Frank and June Dyer both attended the University of Redlands and when I was ready to attend, they came and talked to me about their experiences. June was a gracious and lovely person, making one feel special in her presence. She will not be forgotten. Prayers for the family...
Sincerely,
Linda and James Nunes
