It's always such a personal loss when you lose someone with whom you share memories and experiences. Erica studied ballet for several years when she was young and living with her folks in East Meadow, Long Island. She was a terrific cook, and I still use many of the cooking techniques I learned from her. She would make us dinner every night for the six years we were together.

Of course, we both moved on, and didn't have much contact unless I initiated it, as I did about a year ago to reminisce about out European trip together in 1988. But just knowing she was out there and we shared memories somehow enriched my existence.

She was, despite her extreme, almost crippling sensitivity, a strong person. She was intelligent, considerably smarter than me, confident and capable. Her drive and creativity served her well. She was self employed most of her life, except for the years in the late '90s to early 2000s when she worked for a San Francisco ad agency creating the weekly Safeway ads we receive in the mail. I owe her a big debt of gratitude for picking me up out of my grief over Barbara's death, and encouraging me to become an independent consultant.

I miss you Wendy.

Oh Erica where did you go? So fast. We miss you SO much and love you even more. It's a pleasure to have known you, my dear old neighbor. We did well living next to each other for so long! I wonder what will happen with your sweet home & wish I could help. We never got to our next bagel date
:( Sending tons of love and blessings forever and ever. Jody
