Our deepest condolences to the Matthews family and Scott for the loss of their beloved, wonderful daughter and wife. As a child I loved going into the Healy-Matthews stationary store; as an adult Amy helped me set up my photography studio complete with flat files and filing cabinets, and we chatted about growing up in Santa Fe, and, among many memories, we recalled with gusto and laughter eating Josie's delicious red chile enchiladas after school and sitting in those cozy wooden booths. Later, I had the opportunity to visit Amy and Scott's ranch in the Galisteo Basin, and a portrait of Scott in Amy's glorious Three Sisters' (that magical botanical song of maize, corn, squash) organic vegetable garden was chosen to be a part of the 2009 Galisteo Basin Photography Project exhibition. Amy's spirit lives on and she remains in all the hearts that she touched with her loving kindness and grace. We will always miss you, Amy!
