Our thoughts and prayers to our cousins The Romero Family,Your mother was a very pleasent lady and yes her smile was what make her who she was, May the beautiful memories she let behind keep you smiling and know she is at peace. Con Carino
I will miss my Grandma Emma; she was a tough woman who lived a full and eclectic life. She was kind and caring to me, generous with her time, her home, and lest we forget her food. As a child I remember fondly the time I spent with Grandma Emma, she was a protector and confidant to a boy of 10, and her playful cynicism was always appreciated. I will miss her smile the most, while not seen as often as I'd have liked, it showed my Grandmother for who she was, a strong woman of this world. Stubborn, but loving. She will be missed greatly.
Lovely tributes to a life well lived! Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
I am so very glad that I got to see and pray with Emma on Saturday before she went to be with our Lord. God Bless the family in this sad time. Remember the tears are because we will miss her but Emma is with God and she sheds no tears.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all in your time of loss. Emma was a beautiful woman and I pray that your memories of her comfort you.
Trish, I will truley miss your mother because she also made me laugh. Not only because she called me an old maid at 23, but because she always kept me on my toes with her words of wisdom. I thank God always for the gifts we recieve from wonderful people like her. All my love to you, Deanna, Dianna, Joanne, and all the rest of your family.
I had the pleasure of meeting Emma at Rosemont a few months ago. While visiting there I would sit and talk with Emma almost every day. She was such a joy to be around, she would always make me laugh, Emma you will be missed for your beautiful smile and sense of humor, May you Rest in Peace lovely lady.
Emma was not only my Mother-in-Law, she was my friend. We shared many happy memories through the years. She always told me that she considered me more of a daughter than an in law. I loved her dearly. She took so much pride in my children's accomplishments. She and Ray were the best of Grandparents and were always there to babysit when grand kids would call to say "grandma will you babysit me" I will miss her and will always be grateful that I was a part of that wonderful lady's life. Our lovely precious treasure Emma has been called by the Lord who delights in giving His Masterpiece tender comfort and peace. The lovingkindness of our Lord is a refuge to those that trust in Him and Emma did. What a wonderous gift it is to live for eternity with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. His creation had a magnificent pure heart and she made us laugh and cry. Emma was an exceptional witty lady and left us with alot of fond memories. We thank God for giving us opportunity to get to know her and we thank the family for sharing her with us. Our condolences to the family.
On behalf of the Rosemont Family and Mike and Rose Graham we want to say that she will be greatly missed.

Mom, I will miss you dearly but feel incredibly blessed you lived such an amazing life. Born in La Cienega to loving parents and four siblings you grew to be a wonderful young woman proudly graduating from the Loretto School. After working in the candy store at La Fonda you met and fell in love with our dad Ramon. Together you ran a local grocery store on Agua Fria, all while raising 7 children. Your tireless work has not gone unrecognized. We know how difficult it must have been to be a working mother and wife. You and dad not only provided a loving home for us but truly loved each other as you traveled the world together. When dad passed your courage allowed you to continue living, making beautiful memories with your children and grandchildren. Thank you for all of the amazing trips, I will never forget them. We will always remember your beautiful gardens, love of the casino, silly faces, and infectious laugh. You were truly an inspiration and I Love You with all my heart. Love, Diana
Emma was a very dear lady and today Rosemont Assisted Living Center held a nice memorial service celebrating her live and three other former lady residents who have recently gone to their heavenly home.
