It's sad to hear of John's passing, though I haven't seen him for decades. He was a great help as a friend and colleague during the two years I practiced in Santa Fe in the mid-1970s, and taught me a lot about being human while being a psychiatrist. We collaborated in some clinical writing. I thought of John often after leaving Santa Fe, and during the past few years would search for him on the Web every once in a while. Finding his obituary in such a search makes this a sad day; it must be far sadder for his family and close friends. Thank you, John, for your life and spirit.
