Kathleen, we would love to meet you, we will be at our home in Santa Fe the end of March thru April 30, so maybe can meet for lunch. Your dad was such a special friend to my dad. I think my sister Linda had some work done by a Richard Gorman, I think that was his name, was electrical work. So nice being able to share memories of your dad. Please email me at [email protected] if you might want to meet while we are in SFe

Everyone,
I can't tell you how wonderful it is to hear from all of you and to hear you talk about our precious Father. Nick, I believe we even have a picture of you in our family pictures during that time! What a wonderful gift to hear of a story from when I was being born. Mr. Rivera was so very loved by our family, and we will never forget how he served our Father even at his funeral services. They were such dear friends. We are so blessed to have our memories and to be a part of the history of our beautiful Santa Fe. Thank you all so much for taking the time to write to us and to provide pictures. There are no words to tell you how your words provided love and comfort. T

Johnny Gorman was good friends with my grandpa Ramon Alarid and my mom Connie. Mom had a picture of him and grandpa when they presented a flag to Cristo Rey School on be half of the Woodmen of the World. As a young man I used to go buy my boots at the shoe store and he would look at me each time and say 'your Mr. Size 12". He was a nice man and good friend of the Alarids from Alarids Shoe Shop on Don Gasper. May he rest in peace!

Hello Kathleen, I will always remember your dad as a snappy dresser and the snappy way he walked to work or in the store. Always looking so professional and was genuine when he talked to people in the street or at work. I'll always remember the night I drove him and your mother to the hospital for your birth. He was a basket case with so many concerns for your mom but your she always reassured him that she was ok and that seemed to calm him down. Blessings and prayers to your family. Nick Guillen

If my memory serves, John Gorman was a loyal friend of my father, Meliton P. Sandoval (1916-1961). Is this theJohn Gorman who served in WWII and worked in downtown Santa Fe? RIP
