Marian , you will never know how much you and Jay meant to me. I moved to Wilmington Island, not knowing a soul. Being from Rome GA and your greeting me at First Baptist Church of the Islands, saying that you were from LaFayette, made me feel like maybe I found a home after all. Your friendship and my talks with Jay about Rome sports and of course the Braves lightened my spirit. We all had some fun times at the church events. He has gone to his many rewards of our Savior. We are sad but are comforted in knowing that he is with the Lord. I am praying for you, your children, grandchildren and other loved ones. He will be missed. If you need anything please let me know.
