I am sorry to hear of Diane's passing. She was such an elegant lady with a great laugh. I will remember her fondly for all of her excellent volunteer work with the Savannah Tree Foundation. She always worked as hard as any paid staff member and reminded us of the bottom line: more trees, for current and future generations, to make the world a better place.

Ervin, Alexandra and Andrew,
Diane was one of the kindest souls I have had the pleasure of meeting. She always had a kind, pleasant word for everyone she encountered. She will be grandly missed by all who knew her.

Many wonderful memories of your two's superb efforts at the OT House and support of my wife, Joan. We all were so sorry you left Savannah but understood. Devastated about the news of Diane. I share your sorrow and loss.

Lady Di will always be remembered for her graciousness, kindness, and elegance. To know her was to love her. The courage and strength with which she battled ALS was inspirational. The disease may have claimed her body, but it never got her spirit.

Erv and family,

We are forever grateful for Diane, whom we often called "The Sweetheart of Savannah." She was a lesson in grace, hospitality, and authenticity. Only Diane could charm us into 70 hours of manual labor because the Garden Club needed another courtyard on tour, or because the DNA needed another house on tour. ONLY DIANE was so good and kind that we could never, ever say "No" to her. Erv, we are grateful for the many times that you both welcomed us into your lovely home and all the celebrations shared, including the 50th birthday of your Volkswagon! Diane will remain in our hearts and memories as one of the most special, warm, and lovely people we've had the pleasure of knowing. We extend our condolences and love to family and friends here and beyond.

My deepest sympathy to family and friends of Diane. May memories of good times shared remain in your hearts and carry you through the difficult days ahead.
