Carolyn and family,

We are saddened to learn of Alex's death.

As I emailed you previously, I recall meeting Alex at our shared duty station; United States Disciplinary Barracks, Directorate of Mental Hygiene, Ft. Leavenworth, KS. Initially, I thought Alex was unreal; friendly, open, up-beat and happy. As time passed, I learned and experienced that he was for real.

Alex was always positive, friendly, intelligent, studied every situation very thoroughly and if you were Alex's friend (and everybody was his friend), he'd do anything and everything for you.

Janet and I will miss Alex, his family will miss him and humanity will miss him.

Sincerely, Joe and janet

Carolyn, I am so very sorry for your loss. Alex was an amazing person and helped so many people during the worst times in their lives. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Sharyn Baggett Red Cross

Alexander Family,
I am very sorry for your loss. I enjoyed knowing Alex and sharing photos with him through email and would see him at the Sunbury Breakfast when he could attend. You have my deepest sympathy.

Carolyn, I am so sorry for the loss of Alex. He was a wonderful person. I enjoyed the conversations we would have at the Mustang Club meetings and Christmas parties. He will be missed
