E.R. (Buddy) Ogle, age 87, passed away in St. Joseph's Candler Hospital on Monday, October 16th, 2017.
Buddy was born in Cosby, TN and moved to Richmond Hill as a teenager. He relocated and spent most of his life in Savannah, GA. He was a member of White Bluff United Methodist Church, and he was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Buddy retired at age 62 from Savannah Electric and Power Company after 40 years of service, a profession in which he took immense pride. He was also a licensed electrical contractor and owner operator of Ogle Electric Company for over 40 years.
Buddy was preceded in death by his parents, Edert Brownlow Ogle and Anna Arwood Ogle; his wife of 66 years, Mary Bacon Ogle; two sons, Stephen Charles Ogle and Richard Bacon Ogle; one brother, Edward Don Ogle; two brothers-in-law, W.O. Spencer and William Charles Bacon; sister-in-law, Eleanor Marjorie Bacon; and one daughter-in-law, Catherine Graddick Ogle.
Buddy is survived by one son, Ronald Kenneth Ogle (Jennifer) of Alexandria, LA; his daughter-in-law, Deborah Ogle of Sunbury, GA; sisters-in-law, Shirley Bacon Spencer and Melba Smoak Ogle; brothers-in-law, Peyton Raleigh Bacon (Gail) and Stephen Gregg Bacon (Mable); grandchildren, Stephanie Ogle Schuyler (Jack), Sarah Ogle Erwin (Scott), Richard Brian Ogle (Brandy), Garrett Ronald Ogle, Jessica Ogle Millican (Kameron), George Peyton Ogle, John Daniel Jaime, Jeff David Jaime (Shannon); ten great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at White Bluff United Methodist Church in Savannah at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 20th, followed by interment at Oak Hill Cemetery, Richmond Hill GA.

So sorry for your loss, as my memories of Buddy and Mary always remind me of Mary's smile and laugh, and Buddy's honor, pride, and strength. Such a blessing to know them! They were a lovely couple that has been reunited again in heaven.
