Sonny and I grew up together at school and at church. We had a wonderful youth group and had so many fun times together. It's hard to believe that he was taken so suddenly. I haven't seen him in many years - I tried to get him to go to some of our class reunions but never succeeded. He will be missed by many.
My daddy!!!! He was Sonny to many but to me he was and still is my daddy and grandpa to my children. The shock and disbelief is still with me and I must keep in mind he is in a beautiful place. The turn out for the service was comforting to know that there are many who came and said goodbye. The pastors words rang true as my daddy lived with the times of seasons. Our family specifically myself has received an outpouring of love, thoughts and prayers that has been uplifting during this horrible time. I will always cherish my memories I have had with my daddy and love my daddy always!
Lindsey I am so sorry about your Dad. I will never forget all the times we shared watching you and Mary grow up. I can still see him sitting in the chair with his Pipe.
Oh how I will miss you Mr. Sonny. Mrs. Sue, I am so very sorry for your loss. I know one thing, he'll be laughing it up in heaven. Love you.
Mrs. Edwards, I pray the time will come soon when you will remember all the wonderful times that you two shared. I am so sorry for your loss.
Tony and I will miss Sonny's great sense of humor. We love you. Jane and Tony.
Sue and Family,
I am so sorry to hear about Sonny. We had such great times at WJCL. We worked together on many projects. I know he was very proud of his children and his family. He will be missed.
