"Pops" to those who loved him most - was a man of deep conviction and sincerity; the strength of his character and the grace by which he approached life was matched only by the enormous size of his heart. He'd risk his life to help a stranger and he was a fierce defender of those who could not defend themselves. They broke the mold when they made Larry. May he rest in peace. I love you and miss you. Always have, always will.

It was a great surprise to see that Mr Ulmer had passed, and sad for all of you. When I think of him when I was young, he was always smiling, always doing something, in his blue jeans, a t shirt maybe, dark hair and tan. Flying the flags, proud to be a American, a soldier, a father, family man, friend. Pray you find some peace as you learn to carry on without him.

I will miss my next door neighbor. Always there if I needed something or just to chat over the fence.

I was the lucky one who met Larry and Kay when they moved to Conaway Rd. Way back when. I was the lucky babysitter, seeing both Larry and Kay all dressed up to go out dancing. I was the lucky one to know these wonderful people and carry them all in my heart. God Bless the family and Mr. Larry always.
