I knew Mrs. Friedenberg through her daughter Sherry. I remember she had a great laugh and a love of dogs. A very nice lady! My thoughts and prayers go out to Sherry and to the Friedenberg family.

My one art class was with Mrs. Friendenberg. I wasn't terribly artistic, but she made the class fun. My condolences to the family.

I'm sorry to hear of Mrs. Friedenberg's passing. She taught me art, ceramics, and textiles at Jenkins. She encouraged my interest in ceramics, letting me use the wheel to try making something with the Lizella clay my parents gifted me. Another time, my friend Laura & I found beach clay at Tybee, and Mrs. Friedenberg put the piece I made with it in her next kiln batch. I think she was as excited about it as I was! I still have several of the things I made in those classes. My condolences to her family.
