Peggy was one of my favorite colleagues at AG. She was a superb motivator and a true force of a loving nature when leading her students to do the right thing. She was a great defender of the Career Exploration program and stood up for the teachers working with her. I haven't seen her in 20+ years but I will always remember her. I have enjoyed pulling out old yearbooks and finding her pictures across the pages. Terry and Alan: you had a terrific mother and she reveled in your successes and in her grandchildren. My best to both of you as you cope with the loss in your life and receive some comfort from your friends, relatives--and Peggy's fellow teachers.

Peggy was an exemplary educator, Christian, and friend. I once remember a speaker saying, God doesn't judge us on our ability, but on our availability. Peggy was very available to be of service to so many in need. As a leader of our church youth, I saw some of the principles which make a great eduacator/administrator: one who was strict, consistent, and fair. Peggy also added FUN to that category. Kids can read a person who has a sincere interest in them and they could see that repeatedly in Peggy, whether on a mission trip or a Sunday night youth meeting. Those of us who served with her and beside her benefited by watching her in action. And she was always in action whether it was to love, to serve, or to listen. We will miss her quiet (and not so quiet) thoughtfulness and leadership in our time.
Indeed, we will celebrate her life! Happy and humbled to have had a chance to walk with her.

Peggy Jackson was always a bright light wherever she went. She was an excellent teacher who always saw the good in the children and worked tirelessly to help those who were less fortunate. She will be missed.

Mrs. Jackson was one of my favorite teachers she was my Home Ec. teacher at A.G. back in 1992. She treated us like we were her kids I remember going to her house and I was scared of that cat she had but it was so friendly and by the end of the visit it was in our arms.
