Dear Robin, Philip and family, Although I don't know any of you personally, I know about each of you because of hearing your sweet Mother talk of you while we volunteered at Meals on Wheels together. Jean had a wonderful laugh and a kind heart and she I stayed in touch through our annual Christmas cards and a phone call now and again. She loved all of you dearly and was so proud of her granddaughters and was thrilled to be a great grandmother. She was independent and strong willed, much like my own Mother, who died in 2013, and I liked that about her as well. Please know I will be thinking of all of you and I will let the other two ladies at MOW that knew Jean well, know about her passing. She will be dearly missed and I am sorry for your loss.

It can be difficult to say or do the right things when someone is grieving. Sometimes we feel as if we are intruding and sometimes we struggle to say the right things. But while we can't take away the pain of your loss, we want to provide comfort and support and show we truly care.

Please accept condolences from my family and I on the loss of your mother and grandmother. Continue to pray to the true God for understanding and comfort at this most difficult time.

Losing a loved one is never easy, but our loving God promises to give the strength and courage you'll need to endure, and to cope with the pain of your loss. He also promises to hold your hand every step of the way. (Isaiah 40:29, 41:10,13)
