Not sure what to say?

From a long time ago, as schoolmates redlands Jr & Sr High...

We enjoyed getting in "trouble" - not big trouble, just seem to set each other into a silly frenzy of fun..like the only day it snowed in Redlands, we had to bring snow into the girl's shower room...then play very loud dance music, then get in trouble with gym teacher, but there was more, safety drills during P.E., trying to stuff our bodies into P.E. lockers stating this must be really safe, again P.E. teacher lecture. Debbie you had infectious laughter...many people I really don't remember from Jr. High. High School Tennis Team partners...the fear was winning in towns like Fontana...Debbie said, "O.K. girl
we win we run like * to the bus, get in no matter what!" It was big hair days and some teams were not pleasant if they lost and would chase us and tear our ugly P.E. outfits. Yes Debbie's infectious laughter, running like mad to the bus after we won. Debbie, you had those big dimples, and that laugh!!!
Also, Debbie you were very smart in math, most girls weren't back then, including me. Well, after high school I don't think I saw you again. Years later my mother said you were the manager of Wells Fargo in Redlands, and that you had waited on her and said you had gone to school with me. Wow manager of the bank, good in math. I only wanted to think of the fun times in school. Often read the Redlands Daily Facts online and somehow looked up your name, manager, Wells Fargo...oh so long ago I knew you but seems like yesterday...you are the highlight of "Mom don't tell us your dusty old school stories" so I just tell them again, there were the cheerleaders, the prom queens, but kinda forgot them...Debbie your Infectious laughter and energy to start a little trouble, just a little, is forever in my "Cloud" memory, also yakking about boys...life was simpler, and often simply fun.

Girlfriend......from this day forward there will be such a void. Our get togethers will never be the same. It still isn't real to me that our lives will go on without you. I was blessed to be your BFF and that will always hold true. I know you would have been so overwhelmed how everyone came together to make your services unforgettable. I didn't expect any less from everyone because you knew what awesome friends & family we have. You are now my BGA (Best Guardian Angel) always be by my side and help me through this. Your humor makes me smile between my tears. Hugs and kisses to all our loved ones that you are with now. I love you now and forever. RIP my friend.

Having worked with Debbie off & on thru the last 10 yrs, she was always so pleasant & welcoming. Most of our conversations where at the front entrance to Mtn West Financial either on our break or lunch hour. Of course when I would see her & speak with her she was wearing a stylish "Hat" that seem to match her outfit for the day. I do not think there was ever a time in our conversations that Debbie did not make me laugh & give me a hug. Love and comfort to all of Debbies' family. Maria T. English-Caddel

Debbie,

I can't believe this, your presence in this world is deeply missed. You were always such a joy to be around, I loved going over your house as a kid and playing scrabble and other games with you, 4th of Julys at the park, BBQs, dinners, "Juanita" in the mirror in our group picture, everything, I have so many memories. I will cherish them forever. I'm so glad I got to see you and spend time with you at the casino last year, we all got to spend those few hours together and enjoyed a dinner and gambling together, I'll hold onto the memories forever. I pray you're at peace now, in the arms of your mom and dad, no pain and stress. Love you, Deb.

Debbie never met a stranger. She would talk to all and greet you warmly as a friend. She helped so many to feel welcomed into the Mountain West family. I will miss her smile, laughter and sometimes "quirky" ways. She knew the meaning of being a true friend. Rest in peace with Mom and Dad. Say Hi to our friend Penny. To the Torres family, my deepest condolences. You are in my prayers.

Though we didn't know one another very long, you left a very touching mark on my heart. Such a genuinely friendly, person. Never too busy to smile and say hi, even when on the phone on your smoke break, you always waved hi. You even kept my husband company daily when he'd pick me up for lunch. He adored you as well. Sending many hugs to you.

To my partner in crime,
I am going to MISS YOU SO MUCH!! I will think fondly of all the joy you brought into my life. Your smile, your laugh, your caring heart, unconditional love, all the nicknames we had for each other, our late night runs to the casinos, our Sunday lunch dates, taco Tuesday and hanging at each other's houses having BBQ's and always having fun is what I will miss the most! Even though you may not be here physically anymore, you will always remain in our hearts and never be forgotten! XOXO

Every memory I have of Debbie is a happy one. Even when she was crabby, she made me laugh. When she found out I was expecting my first baby, she gave me a dress in a beautiful box (her gift packaging was always exceptional). That same baby now receives a special gift from me in that box each year on her birthday. I find peace in knowing that she and her mom are back together once again.

I had the pleasure of working with Debbie for over 12 years. I didn't see her everyday, but when I did she always asked how I was doing or how my family was and she actually listened when I replied. I will miss passing by her in the hallway or in the parking lot on the way to the office. I will miss her smile and her amazing laugh. I am happy knowing that she up in heaven with her parents smiling down on all of us, but we all know she is up there drinking margaritas and singing for all of us.
