I was invited to stay at Elizabeth & Jim's home in February, 1999 even though I had never met them. I was taking the BAR in San Diego and very much appreciated the invitation and hospitality they offered. The invitation came via my friends Randy and Caron who both said Elizabeth & Jim would be more than happy to have me make their home my home while I studied and took my exams. Elizabeth and Jim were off on one of their trips so the whole place was mine and I was told to stay as long as I wanted. I cherished the incredible opportunity to have such a lovely place to stay. From the moment I arrived, I felt their special welcome to me in their home. I was very pleased when I was later able to meet them and thank them in person for their generosity. I'm convinced that their kindness and the incredibly comfortable bed that allowed me to get good night's sleep were the reasons I passed the BAR!! I was fortunate to have a couple of opportunities to spend time with both Elizabeth and Jim when they were visiting Randy and Caron in Santa Barbara. I am very sorry for your loss of this truly giving, loving and wonderful woman.

I am so grateful to have such an amazing grandmother in my life. She was so full of compassion and love, I can only strive to be a fraction of the person she was. I loved spending time with her taking walks on the beach, preparing meals or playing cards (even though she always beat me). I will always carry her in my heart. I love you so much Grandma, you will be missed.

Sorry to hear of your loss. She will be dearly missed by all. I miss seeing her and Uncle Jim when they would come to New Mexico. My Mom Rose Marie loved to visit them in CA and NV. God Bless you all.

Elizabeth & Jim raised three fine children and I was lucky enough to marry one (Randy). My son was 13 years old when we married, and they accepted him without condition as one of their grandchildren (much to my delight). I've always described my mother-in-law (to friends & family) as a beautiful person, inside and out. She dressed impeccably and her home (and RV) were always perfectly organized. She's the only person I've ever known that carried (and used!) china dishes in her RV! I don't think I ever heard her complain, even when I knew she was in physical pain. Intelligent, industrious, kind, and truly a “lady.” We love and miss you, Elizabeth.

I am so sorry for your loss. She was a beautiful lady and a loving wife, mother, grandmother. This is a very nice site with many loving photos of such a fine lady! I am glad I was able to spend some time with her on several occasions.

Vegas 2010 when Levi made us go to that horrible restaurant...don't think it was Elizabeth's cup of tea! But she gamely went along. What a sweetheart
