Years ago when my mother told me she had a new romantic interest, I thought it couldn't be possible. My father had passed away some years before that and I knew there was nobody who could hold a candle to him. But somehow she found another equally wonderful man, Ray, a good, kind-hearted person and a true gentleman. I always enjoyed his company and I will always be grateful to him for all the happiness he brought to my mom. He was the type of person who made the world a little better and I will miss him!
Here is a photo that captures Ray's love of dancing and great music by the CRHSO. He was a fun partner and a dear friend. I miss our days of fondly referring to each other as "Fred and Ginger". Sincerely, Girl Singer Kelley
I first met Ray when I joined Tippers in 1997. Always a gentleman and willing to lend advice. The world could certainly use more like him. He will be missed.
A light has gone out in the world, and it is a little less than it was before. We are so sad at Ray's passing, but we have great memories of a lovely man, a wonderful neighbor, and just all-around nice person. We hugely enjoyed the company of both of you, and Dorothy before. Please let us know if you are in Long Beach any time, we would love to see you.
We loved Ray and know he will be missed by all who knew him. He was a light in our lives.
Ray was a wonderful man. I had the opportunity to know Ray and Dorothy through our wine group for many years.
May he continue drinking Zinfandel in heaven!
Ray was my friend through Tippers for over 25 years. He was such a kind hearted person, always a smile on his face, and a positive thing to say. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Tippers will always remember Ray Miller. He had an easy smile, a warm demeanor, and a ready joke. My best to the family.
My Condolences to the Family. During this time of sorrow, may you find peace and comfort in God's promise found at John 6:40
With Deep Sympathy
