I'll make this short and sweet, just like Rose. I can't think of better or more comforting memories than being at the Hill's on Tobias Ave. Rose made my favorite dinners (especially meatloaf and chocolate cake). On Friday nights Trisha and I would get ready for the Sock Hop (and of course I would borrow her cute sweaters). Then a gang of
us would go back to the Hill's to swim until midnight and then came the slumber party. She was the best mom ever and I will treasure those days forever.
Love to Rose and the whole family.

To Barbara, Chuck, Richard and Trisha. We were so sorry to learn of your mom's passing. She was one of our favorite neighbors on Tobias Avenue and she was an important person to me (Marie) during my growing up years as the "Team Leader" for our Troup when I was in the Catholic Daughters. Along with your dad Jack, they were very special friends to my mom and dad - Paul and Mary Meano. I remember the Hill's Liquor store on Van Nuys Boulevard where my dad would send me along with a note and 25 cents to purchase for him a pack of Camels or Lucky Strikes. We send you our sincerest sympathy.
Love, Jim and Marie Lucas
My great aunt Rose, you are forever in my memory. Hugs to your wonderful family. Love and miss you all
We love you, Grandma Rose. You will forever be remembered in our hearts. Thank you for raising a wonderful daughter, who in turn gave me a perfect husband and father to my children. Your legacy of kindness, humor and compassion for others lives on.
