Rodney Charles Foskett
June 30, 1941 ~ April 30, 2013
71, passed away at home in Banning, CA. after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Joplin, Missouri to Charles Oliver Foskett and Mary Oleta Foskett. Rodney was a resident of Banning, Yucaipa, San Bernardino and White Hills, AZ. He graduated from Banning High School in 1959 and received his Associated degree from Mt. San Jacinto College. Rodney was a Senior Building and Safety Inspector from 1976-2004 for the County of San Bernardino. He served in the US Navy from February 1962-June 1966 on the USS Monticelo out of San Diego. There the crew wittnessed nuclear weapons testing on Christmas Island and aided in closing down operations. He was a member of the Eagles, Elks, Moose American Legion and the VFW.
Rodney is survived by his son Robb (Kristy) Foskett of Beaumont, CA, sister Gayle Davidson of Banning, CA, nephews Tod (Linda) Davidson of Cathedral City, CA, Chad (Jina) Davidson of Banning, CA, great nephews Matthew of Cathedral City, CA, Kole of Banning, Ca, great niece Charlee of Banning, CA and great nephew Kooper of Banning, CA, and life long friends Gaylon Hirst, Don Durham and Bud Barry, many cousins, friends, girlfriend Marla and his beloved "55" T. Bird. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Mary Foskett.
Graveside services will be held on on June 14, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at San Gorgonio Memorial Park, 2201 N. San Gorgonio Ave., Banning, CA 92220.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to the VFW Post 233, 450 E. 44th St., Beaumont, CA 92223 in honor of Rodney C. Foskett.

Rod, you were a great friend to me in our days at Lockheed. I remember the work days, the party days and the golf days. Like you, many of our Lockheed buddies have passed. I miss them all and especially you. Cheryl and I will always remember you. RIP your friend Bill Rupp.
