"I am a creative individual with a fun outlook on life. I love hanging out with friends and I love my blooming career in public and environmental health," she wrote on her Facebook page.
"I am dedicated to enjoying my new life, that God so graciously gave me so I thank Him all that i can and live life to the fullest. I love my life."
Her friend, Timothy J. Lee, wrote on her Facebook page: "I just want to share with everyone a glimpse of the type of person Sierra was. She always had something encouraging to say to me when I did something creative."
"She was such a bright star in our hearts. I could always count on her for support. Now she's gone. I don't understand why anyone would take away a life that is so sweet and loving. This is so not right. I miss you girl."

I know there is nothing anyone can say or do to ease the pain but I pray these words God gave me will bring some comfort.
MESSAGE FROM SIERRA
I know your hearts are heavy and you miss having me there, but now I'm resting with the Lord and free from every care. I was welcomed in by Abraham and he took me by the hand. He said I'd like to welcome you to that blessed promised land. Then Jesus stood before me and he held onto me tight. And he reassured me everything would be alright. He told me not to worry about my friends and family. Even though I'm not there they can still talk to me. Then he led me down the streets and running to meet me were many friends and loved ones I had longed to see. People I didn't know came up to me and said because you gave of yourself God saw that I was fed. Please don't be sad and mourn for me I'm doing what I love; serving God and guarding you from heaven up above. Soon we will be together never more to part. Until then just remember I'm as close as your heart.

I am just so sickened by this act of violence..Sierra was our Health Inspector here in Big Bear...Rest in Peace Dear Sierra..Prayers to your family and to all who you worked with that lost their lives also, prayers to them also.....

Dear Clayborn Family,
Our heart aches for your most precious loss. We pray that time will heal and lessen the pain at this difficult time. Take strength that Sierra's beauty and smile will always shine and radiate upon the family especially her parents and her older sister. We share the same grief of losing a daughter unexpectedly and we can say that no matter how many days, months or years, you will "never" forget her. As years pass, the pain subsides and your strength will grow again filled with the beautiful memories of your angel. She will be missed by everyone especially her REHS(Registered Environmental Health Specialist)family. I watched Sierras family on Dr. Phil today. I am so very sorry for your loss. Please know that even though this world can be very cruel at times there also is much love and kindness.
