Andi Wallick Obituary
Born July 7, 1994, in Pottsville, she was a daughter of Nicholas and Josette Kroznuskie Wallick.
Andi was a graduate of Pottsville Area High School, Class of 2012. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry from Manhattan College in The Bronx, N.Y., Class of 2016, and received her Master of Science in pathology from Indiana University of Medicine in Indianapolis, Ind., on May 12.
She was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Nicholas Wallick, and maternal grandfather, Edward "Moose" Bachert.
In addition to her parents, Andi is survived by furbaby, Mel; sister, Audrey Wallick, San Francisco, Calif.; maternal grandmother, Millie Bachert, New Philadelphia; paternal grandmother, Nancy Wallick, Perry, Ga.; maternal grandfather, Albert Kroznuskie, Minersville; aunts, Erica Reeder and husband, Mike, Frackville, Millie Kroznuskie, New Philadelphia, and Nicola Bruno and husband, Thomas, Warner Robins, Ga.; uncles, Mike Kroznuskie and wife, Denise, Minersville, Nyle Wallick and fiancee, Melissa McClure, Pottsville, and Nevin Wallick and wife, Tara, Pottsville; great-aunts and cousins.
A religious service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home, 208 Pike St., Port Carbon, with Pastor Lois Sterling officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donate "In Memory of Andi" to the College of Manhattan Pep Band or to the Indiana University School of Medicine Andi Wallick Scholarship. We have so many memories of the girls together, whether it was on the field, sleepovers, just hanging around or playing pass the pigs. One thing that we could count on was that beautiful smile of hers. It is so unfair that her life was cut short, she had so much to offer. I'm so sorry to hear of Andi's passing. She was a beautiful, innocent young lady. I remember her softball days and hanging out with Bryanna. Life isn't fair, she had so much more to do. I'm so sorry.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any mans death diminishes me".
