I have known Mrs. English for most of my life, having met her when Tom and I became friends in the 7th grade. She was a quiet lady, but when you started talking about her family, you knew you found a topic she absolutely loved to talk about. You could tell that her family was the most important thing in her life. Followed closely by her beloved Phillies! I feel fortunate that I got to spend a few minutes with her recently, gently swinging on the outdoor swing at her home. She was so amazing in that her mind was as sharp as ever, even though her body had just about given out. May she now rest in Peace with Mr. English and Bill.
