Dear Joan and Family,
Clarence and I were in school together for the 8 grades at District 19 in Jacob's Prairie. Even in those days 60+ years ago, he was a gentle, helpful, pleasant person. It was a joy to know that entire family.
Sending my condolences and prayers.

Dear Joanne (I love you!), and Deb, Dave, Keith, Brian and families, it is with heavy heart that I reach out to all of you in your time of grief. I remember your husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and my godfather as a fun-loving, charming man with a twinkle in his eye that made me feel really special! I am so proud and honored to have been his goddaughter. There are no words that will console the loss…but know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers.
Your loving goddaughter and cousin,
Sandra Heihn (Farley)

I have so many wonderful memories of visiting uncle Clarence's farm. He was so patient with explaining farm life to us city slickers, and always made time to walk with my sisters and I down to the barn to see the pigs and cows. He had this great laugh, I can close my eyes and picture his smile that went along with it. He was a great person and I feel truly blessed and honored that I had the chance to know him. May the many memories of Clarence help you find peace.

Clarence joined our boisterous Roundtable several years ago. Amidst the noise he had a wonderful, understated chuckle and genuine soft-spoken way. We all enjoyed Clarence and will feel his loss for a while to come. My best to his family. We're all a little empty these days.
