Edna and family, When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
February 13, 2013
Dear Aunt Edna,

Just to let you know we're thinking of you and how sorry we are for your loss. Earl was a wonderful, kind, humorous person with such an easy-going nature. He always made you feel comfortable when you talked to him and you two complimented each other so well. We will always remember his smile, especially when he told stories of his band gigs.

We hope the memories you and Earl created together will help you through this difficult time.

All our love, Scott and Mary

So heaven has gained another "OOM PA PA" Sousaphone-tuba Player. What a wonderful man - certainly more so due to the love and care he found in his gentle woman wife and love of his life. Here is to the celebration of his being here in this life and the joy he brought to many. We salute his legacy in all those who surrounded him and whose live he touched. (George Packard, Cheryl's friend and your occasional guestroom occupant)

When one heart speaks and another heart listens, heaven smiles, and the angels pause to enjoy the conversation of love.

Keep speaking. I'm sure Earl is still listening.
