I was lucky enough to meet George again later in my life. I grew up down the street in St. Joseph but really never had the chance to get to know George. However, our paths crossed again at FSI when he was a production manager. His attitude about life was inspirational to me. He never complained about his cancer or his inablility to eat meat. I am honored to have known such a kind human being. I just hope I have half the qualities that George had as human being. The world lost a good soul. I know I will miss him. Rick Schroeder

I will always remember George with fondness. He hired me at Frigidaire and I worked with him for ten years. He was and will always be my favorite boss. I learned so much from him.

He is a very nice gentlemen and lived his values every day and shared those values. He liked to entertain. He would have several over to his house for a big meal.

He will truly be missed.

My deepest sympathies to Dorothy and all of George's family. I feel so honored to have had the chance to get to know George. I worked with him at FSI and always loved to hear his great stories! He will be so missed. My thoughts and prayers are with him and the family.
