I think of you in silence,
I often speak your name.
Now all I have are memories, and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is my keepsake, with which I'll never part.
God has you in His keeping; I have you in my heart.
A million times ive wanted to call you or stop by,
a million times I've cried.
If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died.
In my heart you hold a place; no one else will ever fill.
It broke my heart to lose you, but you didn't go alone.
Part of me went with you the day God took you home

I am so sorry to Paulies family for the tremendous loss,Paulie was a dear friend, alot of fun, a wealth of knowlege and truckloads fo enthusiasm, we laughed alot, I am a better person having the privilage to pull his wagon.... tami
The sentiments shared by many here are spot on. Paul, or "Paulsy" as we called him, was absolutely one of a kind. I had the pleasure of duck hunting with Paulsy, Bob, Danny and their Dad Larry for many years. That smile of his was both unique and priceless. That is the image that pops into my head when I think of him, and I can't help but to smile myself.
I have many great memories of Paulsy, and I'm sure his family does too. He had a sharp wit and was never at a loss for words. Quite a unique soul, too. I often told him that I was 100% convinced that someone broke the mold before he was complete. It was priceless each time waiting for his comeback, and it seldom disappointed.
My deepest sympathies go out to his family. It's hard to know how to encourage someone suffering such a severe loss. I don't know what to say other than to suggest that you picture that priceless smile of his when times are the toughest. The memories of Paulsy's smile were left to us all for a reason.
I know Paulsy is riding and smiling somewhere really special now. What a super and unique man he was.
Paulie, I will truly miss our friendship that we had for the past 10 plus years. I will always tell your sister everytime I see her how much you ment to me as a friend.
Sorry to the Hiltner family for your loss. Paul was truly a great guy, who I will greatly miss.
Pete, reach out if you ever need anything.
This world is truly a better place because of the soul of a man that stood for much more than just an acquaintance to those he cared about around him.He blessed my life as a special friend who taught strong family moral values, work ethic, and principles second to none... I will miss you dearly old friend... Love Bobby Hirt - Birmingham, Alabama
I will sure miss you my friend.
His loss cannot be measured. He was my friend.
Love ya paulie, thanks for being here.
Paul was one of the most memorable people I have ever met. His outward appearance was kind of intimidating. He had the classic biker look but it didn't take long to realize he was a kind and gentle person. He showed his kindness in many ways. His yard was like our extended playground. My first experience on a trampoline was in Paul's back yard. One of the 1st things my sisters and I looked forward to in the spring was going to the cabin and playing on “Paul's Beach”. I had a lot of good times with Paul when I visited the cabin. It was fun to fish with Paul because there was never a dull moment. When he caught a catfish, he helped me with my English class by expanding my vocabulary. We didn't have to catch fish to have fun. Just being in his company was fun.
I'm really going to miss Paul but I will not forget him. I'm going to miss hearing his motorcycle rev up in the morning on his way to work. Paul experienced a lot in his life and l will miss the advice he shared. I will miss his clever comments, like how he thought the gap in my sisters teeth made them perfect.
Even though we aren't related, to me he was “Uncle Paul”.
I had the pleasure of knowing Paulie, and I have to say I will think of you and your family daily.
You and Pete are the only guys I could trust with my riding needs....
I hope when you rode up to those pearly gates St Peter was wearing something nice for you!

Paul was a great guy. I knew him for 10 years. A big hearted man...
Pauly you've given me so many laughs through the years with your warped sense of humor (Great Humor). Like when I call to see if I could get a tire put on, your reply bring it in the morning ( wear something tight) Yup Paul you were one of a kind, and will be GREATLY miss my Friend.
Amy, Abby & Samantha, Pauly always spoke Highly of His Ladies... I had great respect for the Family man that he was. We all had a great friend but you ladies had a Fantastic Father/Husband.

His legacy will live on in my work. I created a custom one of a kind wallet for Pauly ...he loved it and bragged about it. I called it the "Hardtail" and now when I sell one, I will tell people the story of the man that inspired it. Love you Brother.
I am so sad ....Jackie and I lost a good friend for no reason. Although I couldn't make it for the visitation ...I said my goodby to Pauly last night in a dream ...one so real it woke me up in tears. May his legacy live on in each of you...He will be missed.....Blessings to each of you. So very sorry for your loss!!
I'll miss seeing Paul at the swap meets. My deepest sympathies to his family. He was a great person.
It's funny how someone can touch so many hearts and never really know it. Pauly was one of those people but you would of never guessed it. He would have people come from near and far to work on their bikes and sometime even just to visit. Everyone knows he would always have some kind smart butt remark to something that was said. But when you left you pretty much always had a smile on your face or you were laughing inside for something he said. Pauly you are a great loss to all but a greater loss to your family. You will always be remembered in the wonderful memories that we all have of you. May God be with your family in this time of need.
My deepest condolences go out to Paul's family. Paul was a one of a kind guy who none of us will ever forget. Before my husband,Glenn passed away he and Paul attended many swap meets together in the cities. Paul purchased all of Glenn's Harley parts, a truck full, after his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
May you rest in peace.. Your in our Thoughts and prayers to Pauls Friends and family... I still thank Paul for giving us the gas tank for my moms ashes when she passed away..

Amy and the girls you are in my thoughts and prayers and may God bless you on your journey without Paul.
I was lucky enough to have met you Paul, and learned as much as I did over the past 12 years. I hope that your Hardtails legacy will live on in the years to come. Condolences to his family and friends. See you on the other side buddy.

Amy, Abby, Samantha, My heart goes out to all of you. I know the kind of pain you are feeling is like no other. My kids and I lost their dad 7 years ago, it is almost unbearable at times but I want to tell you the pain never goes away but it does get easier to live with. Eventually you will be able to tell stories and laugh rather than cry. Pauly was a man like no other with a heart of gold. He has been so wonderful to my daughter and I, I can't imagine not visiting with him every morning while he is having coffee before heading to the shop. You all will remain in my prayers and Pauly will be in my heart forever. My sympathy and much love to Pauly's family.
My sincerest sympathy to all who knew Paul, and especially his family. Paul also helped me buy my first Harley and did it in such a manner that I still chuckle every time I share that story. I didn't get to see Paul as often as I would have liked to over recent years, however, I still remember his smile (it always made me smile) and fun jokes. May he continue to ride in our hearts forever.
We will all miss you dearly Pauly! My heart goes out to all friends and family with many preyers. He was a wonderful guy and good friend with a gunuine love for bikes :) RIP Big P! Luv 'n Miss ya

Amy Abby Sam. I really just don't know what to say. I know how much Paul loved you all. And that was the purest love I have ever seen. I Can not imagine the pain you are feeling. Paul and I have had quite a past with a lot of great memories. Wich are sometimes the hardest memories. You will forever be in my heart. I am going to have a bowl of Ice cream in his honor Love you all :( Steve (spence) Olmscheid
Amy, Abbey and Sam. This is one of those times that seems too impossible to understand or grasp. But some how you will find the strength the carry on with your lives--as you know that is what Paul would want. He was definately a "one-of-a-kind" softie in that thick skin and layers of leather and I know he loved the three of you through and through. He was like a fixture that is always there, no matter what, and he will be sorely missed. Life will always be missing a link from this day forward and never will he be forgotten. Perhaps God wanted a Thoroughbred in Heaven. Love and hugs to all of you...forever in our hearts Paul.
You are forever in our hearts you helped us buy our harley and we have many great memories thanks to you out deepest sympathy to your family and many friends

Amy and girls. Our hearts and prayers go out to you and the girls. Paul was a man like no other, with an exterior made from iron and a heart as big as Texas. To simply call him my friend would be an understatement, he was more like a brother. Paul will be truly missed by many, especially me, I always looked forward to seeing him when we were in town. God Bless you, and he watch over you in this time of deep sorrow.
My deepest sympathy to Amy and the kids. Your going to be missed my old friend.
I don't think there are any words that can take away the unbearable pain you must be feeling. I am sorry for the loss of Paul. I met him several times while managing at Perkins. Paul, you will live forever in our memories. All of our memories of you make us smile. When you were born everyone was smiling and you were crying. The day you died everyone around was crying. Every day in between you lived to the fullest. May you rest in peace and may your family have happy memories of you.
