Sandy & Family - I feel blessed that I got to visit with Arnie and you at our 50 year Wresting Reunion in Lake City last year. I have thought of the two of you many times over the years. Beside my father, I want you to know that Arnie had more influence on who I am today than any other person. He taught me that anything is possible if you have goals in life and you only fail if you give up!

May God be with your family and that you always cherish the great memories you hold of your husband and father.

Sorry to hear of your loss. May peace be with you and your entire family. May your memories bring you comfort in the days and years to come. God bless.

What a great teacher! I had Mr. Mages, as we called him in class, for history, he made it fun and interesting. My deepest sympathy. Nancy Johnson (Updike) class of 74, Tech.

I would like to send my condolances to the family of Arnie. I played ball in high school with him and I had a great admiration for him.

I was so shocked and saddened by the news of Arnie's passing. I spent that whole day remembering Arnie and all the adventures we had together - team teaching, fishing opener, Miltona, casino, his stories and on and on. I will never forget him. Sorry I had to be in Arizona and missed the funeral. Only 1800 miles could keep me from it.
